Windows 10 build 17134 now rolling out to Slow ring and Release Preview Insiders
Microsoft this calendar week began rolling out Windows 10 preview build 17134 to Fast ring Insiders, and now its time for the Slow and Release Preview rings to get a taste. Windows Insider chief announced today that the build is at present available to download for Insiders in the Slow and Release Preview rings.
To recap, there are no new features included in this build. However, build 17134 replaced 17133 every bit the potential release candidate once Microsoft ran into reliability problems with 17133 during testing. As Microsoft explained at the time:
As Build 17133 progressed through the rings, we discovered some reliability bug nosotros wanted to ready. In sure cases, these reliability problems could have led to a college pct of (BSOD) on PCs for example. Instead of creating a Cumulative Update bundle to service these issues, we decided to create a new build with the fixes included. This simply reinforces that Windows Insiders are critical to helping us discover and fix bug earlier releasing feature updates to all our customers and then thanks!
Should testing go well, then build 17134 will make its manner to the public before long. The build is moving ahead despite an event causing the Settings app to crash for at least some users, though the Insider squad says that information technology is not widespread.
If you're in the Wearisome or Release Preview rings for Windows 10, you should be able to download this latest release now. Build 17134 made its way out to HoloLens Insiders this week too.
